Decided to make an image-free design, just using borders and subtle typography.
Quite happy with the result so far but it's not quite finished yet.
Table-free design, valid CSS and XHTML and fully accessible.
Works fine in all the browsers I've tested - IE8/7, Firefox 3, Chrome 5 and Safari.
For now I'm going to call it "clean", but that might change in time.
